The idea is to present the user with just the right amount of information that they need, not too little and not too much. To achieve this the designers have developed the “multifunctional worksheet”. These provide views of the same data from different perspectives, much like looking at a cube from different angles. blomesystem modules
blomesystem contains all the modules needed to create a complete installation, including specific customer requirements:-
blomesystem Designer
This module handles the design and implementation of the Database itself.
blomesystem Application Generator
This is used to design and define the top layer, i.e. the multifunctional worksheets, charts, reports, certificates and results validation.
blomesystem first appeared in 1985. The product has since seen continuous development by its creators, Karl Blome in Germany, where it is known as LABbase.
blomesystem - Areas of Application
As software has become more and more flexible, the borders between Laboratory Information, Quality Control and Process Control Systems have become more blurred. Indeed, all three areas are supported by blomesystem. But as well as covering all that is presented here, even in a large application, blomesystem can also handle peripheral functions (e.g. commercial enquiries).
blomesystem-training
To get to know how to use the software, the Customer's System Administrator would normally complete a 5-day course. A group would spend about half their time with the Applications Department (chemists and laboratory experts) and half with the IT-department.
blomesystem-Basic System
aj-blomesyetem and their distributors normally offer blomesystem with a ready-made basic system for the corresponding industry. This will contain all the necessary basic modules as standard, but they can be adapted when required and at any time depending on the specific requirements of the customer. This adaptation can be done independently by trained personnel of the customer, if required.
blomesystem-maintenance
The different systems in the various industries have all originated from the same blomesystem development tools. Those customers who take out a maintenance contract will be offered an upgrade, from time to time. This enables them to keep abreast of the latest technology, even if they have meanwhile expanded their system and blomesystem has become more advanced!
