The basic system almost always forms the basis of a new installation. The individual customised blomesystem project will then be derived from this. The basic system incorporates all the principal activities of a standard laboratory along with all the necessary modules.
It essentially consists of the following:

- Instrument Management with associated control charts.
- Administration of laboratory standards and control charts.

- Administration of Standard Analyses.
- Laboratory-book-administration.

These administrations are standard, but may be edited and changed quite easily.
blomesystem meets a number of statutory requirements, especially with regard to DIN standards and there is a commitment to the incorporation of future new rules.
Security level
blomesystem uses passwords for protection of the data base from unauthorised access.
In addition there is a personal user program which offers greater security and flexibility.
